Our Studio

The Studio is an internationally renowned center for glassmaking and education that offers:

  • State-of-the-art facilities where artists and students find the tools and the support they need to take risks and make discoveries.
  • Opportunities for people of all skill levels to forge and deepen their understanding of glass.
  • Connections to the glass community, where artists gather to create, learn, and share.

The Studio work spaces are equipped for furnace working, flameworking, kiln working, cold working, and more. As part of the Corning Museum of Glass, Studio artists and students have access to the world’s largest museum collection dedicated to glass and the Rakow Research Library.

The Studio hosts residencies and community programs, offers glassmaking classes and scholarships, and provides facility rental for artists and students.

More than a place, The Studio is a community where individuals passionate about glassmaking can come together and exchange ideas. Inclusivity and sharing of knowledge are at the heart of our programs. We welcome individuals working in all disciplines of glassmaking and at every level of expertise.
